Weigh-in Cans and Build Days: Tuesday & Wednesday prior to the event 9:00am - 9:00pm
Voting/viewing opens: Thursday @ 11:00am - 5:15pm (yes, we're trying a Thursday for the first time!)

It’s 2026, we are celebrating the 100-year anniversary of Route 66, and in that spirit, Connections Food and Resource Center is thrilled to announce our themed Grand Can Sculpture Competition!
🥫 Theme: Celebrate Route 66!
From Chicago to California, Route 66 is packed with iconic sculptures, vintage cars, and roadside charm. This is inspiring our teams to build their biggest and best Rt 66 canned sculpture yet!
Here’s what you need to know:
✅ Stop by Connections Food & Resource Center on Thursday, March 26th, 9AM-5:30PM and drop a cash donation in their bucket.
Credit cards are also accepted. Every $1 = 1 point.

Connections has built a caring team. Our staff and volunteers believe in helping people get the food and essential resources they need.
